About Me

I play acoustic guitar, sing, & write songs. Music has been my life's work. Playing for now more than 30 years in clubs and concert venues. Mostly I perform solo now a days but have been privileged to play with many fine musicians in performance venues and in recording projects. "It's A Beautiful Thing" All original songs recorded with Keith Mack on guitar, Ed Shockley on Drums and Craig Roberts on Bass. "Bad Hair Day" ~ It Ain't So Pretty, All original song I wrote in 12 days. "Blue Raven" ~ a cd of music I wrote in my twenties and recorded solo in Rockville, Maryland.

Influences: My influences wow where to begin ~ My Mom naturally! and then Janis Joplin, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Carol King, Neil Young, The Doors, Gordon Lightfoot, Jesse Colin Young, Steve Goodman, Jim Croche, John Prine. Indigo Girls, Tracy Chapman, Eric Clapton, Ricki Lee Jones, Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morissette, Gillian Welch, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Carly Simon, James Taylor, The Kinks, Soul Survivor, J Geils Band, Arlo Guthrie, David Gilmore, ... but even more than the wonderful music I have been influenced by from listening ... really the people I play with influence me more with their passion for their own craft. But most of all Mrs Anderson my middle school chorus director who would cuss out the kids who sang the wrong notes. I LOVED HER!
