About Me

Hi everyone: GBG is finally free of negative people around them!Welcome to PJ & Goodbye Glory I guess u could say I am "The momager of the band". Although Dante is my son (by blood),the other 4 in the band are also my "other son's". I am proud to be associated with GBG and would walk on fire for any of them. Their dedication, hard work, their team work and their personailities is why I love each of them! GBG Has a dedicated team of professionals across Canada who believe in their talent and work endlessly to promote their work.If you would like to join us at any of our shows, or just to join us when we hang out, drop me a line and I will add u to our mailing list. Here is the story of GBG:Together as a group for just over three years, Goodbye Glory has accomplished more in their short career than most bands dream of accomplishing in a lifetime. The band emerged in December 2003, when Adam Staviss met Dante Berardi, while working at a local Toronto bar. After jamming together on a few occasions, the two decided to write a few tunes. Through a close friend, Dante was introduced to Jan Rossi who stepped in on bass and turned to long time best-friend Kevin Costa for lead vocals. After auditioning several drummers the band was introduced to Renzo Casullo in early summer 2004. It only took one jam session for them to realize Renz was more than capable of filling the empty spot.Under the influence of a new member, the band revisited their existing material and wrote the songs that would soon appear on their debut album. Goodbye Glory got the opportunity to play at legendary Toronto rock club, Elmocambo and anxiously prepared for their first real show. As their confidence grew, they played more shows around Toronto at great venues like, The Opera House, 360, Reverb and many more. Goodbye Glory entered the Supernova Promotions battle of the bands contest and easily took first place. They received free recording time at Machinehead Studio to record a demo and got to open up for Gob at the Docks in November 2004. The demo was good enough to turn a few heads and expand the bands fan base.On August 15th 2005, Goodbye Glory settled into Iguana Recording Studio with famed Gavin Brown and Jag Tanna to start production of Plea For Sanity (their 1st CD). With their record complete, Goodbye Glory continues to move forward and build a solid foundation for a long career in the music industry. This bands progress has come in leaps and bounds. Goodbye Glory determination and persistence to be heard is what allowed this group the opportunity to work with some of the industries leading professionals and advance to where they are today.2006 Updates: Goodbye Glory was on of the four Canadian bands that was asked to attend the PopKomm Festival in Berlin Germany- what an honor! While in Germany in September 2006, the band met many industry professionals, new friends and fans. 3 of the band members also help save the life of an unconscious infant. The baby is fine now! He is their smallest, biggest fan!Goodbye Glory is in the process of writing new material for their next CD and then back into the studio recording. Keep your eyes and ears open for the new CD in 2007!Hope to see you at one of our shows!
