About Me

What is the Red Room? Who knows really. It is nightclub in Johannesburg open every Saturday night, this is all I can say for certain. As to what one can expect, well this is determined by the eclectic and unpredictable combination of DJ's, new guests and regulars that appear each Saturday night. No two nights are the same, the music varies from the new and edgy to the alternative underground and Lou knows what else. Indie-experimental-hard-rock-nu-wave-sub- pop-80's-glam-supernatural-retro-cool and the list goes on. And somehow it all comes together, thanks to all of you there every weekend, dancing away the mundanity of the week before, in our deviant Lynch-like environment. So we put this page up to be able to communicate with you more personally, to let you know of special upcoming events, give you surprise gifts and hopefully to hear more from you. Perhaps you can help us refine our definition of what exactly the Red Room is.The Red Room - Open every Saturday Night Only. Doors open at 9pm and close at 1:30am. Party ends some time 'round 4am. Cnr Juice street and Beyers Naude, Honeydew - just past the Bates Motel.
