A little bit country, a little bit dirty, dirty South. I'm pretty much just a good ole boy in a radical queer's body. I'm a writer. I moved back to the ATL after six years and it feels as if I am reuniting with my first love. I drive a truck. My favorite place to drive it is the Starlight Drive-in on Moreland Ave. I like to cook. My favorite time of day is twilight, but my favorite time of the week is Sunday morning (now that I don't go to church anymore). I'm a hard worker and a sweet talker. I don't think TV is the devil. Watching sports is meditative for me, but I go to the batting cage to let off steam. I have a bulldog/boxer named Babette, a crazy bat-eared mutt named Bailey, and a guinea pig named Hank and I talk to them out loud probably more than I should. I believe things happen for a reason, but I've had a pretty good life, so maybe that's easy to believe. I think there's as much beauty in the world as ugliness and it's our job to expose the beauty. I enjoy harassing yankees even though I like a lot of y'all and you can't help where your ancestors decided to settle. I love my friends as much as my family. I'm pretty happy 99% of the time. People who like to sit outside, drink cold beer, tell stories, talk about books, and have a good, chill, time. Political gangstas, queers, artists, writers, radical and anti-racist southerners. I want people in my life who can break my heart with the stories they tell 'cause I honestly believe a few good words can change the world.
