I LOVE riding my CUSTOM BUILT HARLEY - WOO HOO - (RIDE WITH PRIDE)and YES OH YES.. MY NASCAR - I pull for this years 3X CHAMPION.. (2006 / 2007 NEXTEL CUP and 2008 SPRINT CUP CHAMPION) #48 JIMMIE JOHNSON and he is SO deserving of all these Championships. I was at the Daytona 500 when he won the first race of the season in 2006 and the team continued to work toward their goal in 2006 to be crowned THE 2006 NEXTEL CUP CHAMPIONS! They did it again in 2007 and then when everyone thought there was no way that he could tie the 3x Champion... he showed up and done so indeed! I am so proud of all of the LOWES #48 TEAM.. CONGRATULATIONS... You so deserve it all and more!! Go JJ! Finally--after coming so close for so many years in a row you and the Lowes team have accomplished something that has only been done one other time in the history of NASCAR!! GO BABY!!
I also like my FOOTBALL too!! I loved my GREEN BAY PACKERS when BRETT FAVRE was there, now I've kinda changed to the JETS. Where he goes, I go!! GO FAVRE!! I've been to a few games.. tailgating.. enjoying the party!! Nothing like BEING THERE for a WIN!!! Went to CAROLINA VS PACKERS ... AND PACKERS WON!! ;-) I enjoy going to concerts, getting a meet and greet once in a while (GO DAUGHTRY -- WOO HOO -- with thanks to a dear friend and you know who you are) I love to dance (shake my booty), meet new people and make new friends. I am pretty easy going.. love to laugh and have fun.. and just be me.
There is one thing that is so very dear to my heart... I am a Volunteer with the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Foundation (www.ncfff.org) My brother is a "N.C. Fallen Firefighter" .. he's in my "HEROES" section below. One thing that is sometimes taken so much for granted is the that these are the lives of men and women.. that put their life on the line EVERY DAY .. to serve and protect.. and to save many others.. sacrificing all. I try to live each and every day to it's fullest because we are never guaranteed a tomorrow! As the song goes "IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES" .. thanks Garth... It has such meaning and speaks of such truth!!
