I started off as a musician playing the violin and later took up the piano. I got my first MIDI keyboard, a Yamaha SY35, in 1991 and started to put down some tracks using Cubase on an Apple Mac SE and I've been creating my own music since then.
I do my best to keep experimenting - different is good! My music is generally strongly rhythmic and melodic, and more often than not chilled-out. Its ambient, trip-hop, electronic, classical, big-beat, rock...
I grew up listening to the Beatles, but the first record that I remember being really hooked on, was Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells. That track has probably influenced me more than any other - and I'm proud to admit it! Now I’m interested in pretty much any genre, but I maintain a healthy lothing of commercial pap!
