Born in Bogota (Colombia) in 29th of january 1985. He moved to Italy in
1996. Alvy spent long time of his childhood in California, mainly to study
and sport, where got a strong feeling with Hip-Hop, R'n'B,
Soul, Funky, House and Electronic music.When he was 16 he started to work as a DJ. His excessive research and contamination of the sound and his high level
performances bring him to follow an underground minimal-electronic music.On 2004 he moved to Milan to joined Super DJ Productions Studio following the artistic production.In only four years he played in the North Italian most famous underground
clubs and around the world from Italy to Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Greece,
Switzerland, Egypt.Although he is young, he has acquired much prestige obtaining important
acknowledgments as djs and producers. Alvy has worked with many of more
international known djs, also receiving their approval.Listening a complete set of Alvy Marquez let you discover all the new
sounds of electro-minimal world, with more elevated and sustained rhythms
also passing through re-edits of the loved old-house.Currently he working to a important international artist project: "ARTIST I AM ". In september Alvy Marquez begun the collaboration for his new project with a most important and demanded English producer, engineer JAMES LEWIS from ARCTIC MONKEYS .
