Birth of Oceans is a mash-up of two incredible bands, Basil Loretta and Before Night Falls. When both bands met their end in the same month only one course of action seemed logical. Beginning with Jordan Heath and Leonard Stephens it began to grow. The addition of Codie Stephens, Larry Ivy, and Mark Steele completely changed what was a project into a full blown band. After getting a nice solid foundation the decision to add a synth player was made. Now, with Birth of Oceans complete, they are nearly ready to storm the scene with not only brutal bone-crushing breakdowns and face-melting shred, but an incredibly melodic foundation that will set them apart from the rest.
