About Me

AEF describes its music as "structured" rock with blues influences. The five members have been together since they met in high school. The members of AEF have been able to take their six years of experience and knowledge as a band in order to create a chemistry of musical talents and styles.
"Music is an experience in itself that has the power to portray every emotion possible."
Given that music contains all the facets of human consciousness, it requires no justification, no social relevance. It is its own justification. These important functions stand at the center of AEF's songwriting and enable the band to craft music with which people feel they have something in common. AEF relates to the listener and that is the most vital thing that an artist can achieve.
"Our influences are simply what we live and what we see. Be it thrills or disappointments, it all goes into the writing."
By having a wide scope, AEF is able to appeal to a broad range of listeners in a variety of ways, touching on every musical need a listener might be feeling. AEF's originals have become a written path telling the everyday occurrences of the band members.
AEF's first 10-track CD released in 2006, "Jukebox," has allowed for a glimps at the possibilities to come. AEF has been working on recording a new, more powerful and perfected album, which will hopefully be completed by summer 2008.
"We are just five guys who love music and bring every aspect of our musical ability to the table; whether it be guitars, drums, harmonica, saxophones, trumpet or even the occasional tuba."
