Hello friends,
Noberlin is a band formed from other bands in the elk grove village area. Some older bands that our current and recent members were in were: The Bogarts, Paberbag Dropout(later Fallen Among Thieves), Bad Timing, Common Cause, Whole in Head, Sorry Club(later Carston), the Red Sun, Inevitable, Eli, Three Machine, Handsome Tom plus 3, Robot Love Story.
Horatio's Alter Ego was a band started by Tom D., Clinton Weber, and Jamie J in the wake of The Bogarts in 2002. This band later was joined by Jim Holmen in 2004. Jim added to Tom on vocals and brought in new ideas on music. After this the band changed its name to Noberlin and gained two more members Pat Goldsmith and Paul Bruno. This new six piece band of pure destruction rained its terror evolving from its old 4 piecerock band sound. Double drums, keyboards, synthesizers, megaphones, weird lighting gave them a new reputation. Later Jamie left, and Paul went from full time keys to bass. Clinton and Pat left in late 2005 and played with other bands. Noberlin regrouped following this and gained a new drummer in the spring of '06, Tom Kawasaki. This brings us to the current line-up. Noberlin continues to explore new sounds and ideas. Jim and Tom currently work doing booking and sound for local venues. Paul goes to school at Bradley.
