entertainment. Precise production conjugates with poignant lyrics and
what propagates is the sound of Deep East rap/hip hop. Deep East rhythm
& blues can either provide a romantic setting or lull you with tales of the
street life. Our artists are pioneers in the musical genres of rap and
rhythm & blues.
The ongoing gathering of friends in order to show off various talents
evolved into a partnership and on the thirteenth day of October in the
year nineteen hundred ninety-nine Deep East Entertainment was formed. The
goal of Deep East Entertainment is to promote, develop, and support our
artists. In addition to teaching our artists how to be better rappers and
singers we teach them how to be the best entertainers.Given the efforts and accomplishment of Deep East Entertainment we
find it astonishing that anyone would believe that great musical talent
left the city of Detroit when Motown Records left. Deep East Entertainment
shatters that belief by revitalizing the spirit of Motown sound. But, as the
old adage goes, actions speak louder than words.Due to the outstanding work of our great producers who have worked hard
on the production of the albums of our up and coming artists, Open Mic
Magazine recognized Deep East Artists' musical talent and voted one of our
groups the best of the year. Deep East has also been featured in a documentary
documentary, which explicated the state of hip hop in Detroit.Deep East Entertainment has taken full advantage of opportunities to
showcase our talent. Along with many other venues, our artists have performed
in concert at Kokomo Indiana, and a July 4th show hold on Detroit's own Belle
Isle Island.In an effort to support and promote other local talent Deep East has done
a number of things, such as, frequenting events hosted by other artist whose
inception took place in Detroit. We have a great producer who has worked on the
production of the albums of up and coming artists. Additionally, Deep East
Entertainment has hosted, at a local club, an ongoing open mic session. In short,
Deep East Entertainment has and will continue to do as much as we can to promote
