Tobari was born in Washington D.C. to parents John and Patricia Fingal; a bouncing baby boy ready to take over the world with his quiet storm. Tobari began singing at the tender age of six and since then he has never looked back. Following in his mother's (Patricia Fingal) footsteps, Tobari started singing at local D.C., Maryland and Virginia churches and with his smooth vocals, he made his initial impact on the world with little effort at all. With constant nurturing and guidance from his parents, Tobari sought an education in music that would place him a cut above the rest, and that it did! After receiving formal training from Mr. Edward Jackson, former director of the D.C. Youth Chorale, and current professor at Duke Ellington School for the Art, Tobari attended Baltimore School for the Arts where his vocal prowess was only heightened under the tutelage such great vocalists such as Mrs. Loretta Young and Mr. Robert Cantrell. After Graduating and receiving his high school diploma in '01, he continued his education at the Prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston M.A. where he majored in Music Business Management. It was at this point in his life when he realized that he had many passions in music that he needed to peruse, and peruse he did! He started a serious love-affair with the piano; writing, arranging, composing and even producing and anyone around him could see that his talent and drive was only matched by his understanding, love and big-heart. Before graduating from Berklee College of Music in '04, he began formulating the initial ideas for an endeavor that could show all talents at once. Since then his company MusicMaker Productions LLC stands as just a testament to his amazing talent, new and fresh musical ideas and sound that is simply ahead of it's time!
MusicMaker Productions LLC is a company that provides detailed and personalized musical compositions for our customers that include, but are not limited to sound tracks for original works, song-writing, general music and musical production, consultations and original compositional works for plays, movies and commercials. We do not limit ourselves to any one genre, but do specialize in Rock/alternative, R&B, Hip-Hop/Rap, Neo-Soul, Jazz and Gospel and anything else our consumers can imagine. Tobari Fingal founded this company in 2007. His hope is to share the idea to the world of individuals who have the same love and passion for music as he; that there is now a better way to accomplish your musical goals.
