Stevens Mom

The greatest gift God ever gave me, is My Son.

About Me

I am very blessed, I have an Awesome son "Steven" who is proudly serving in the Army and stationed in Germany, I was young when I had Steven so we pretty much grew up together and are more like brother and sister than mother and son, we are very close and really best of friends. (Although we both know when it comes down to it I'm his mother first and friend second).

Heroes:

God First, I am nothing without GOD. My son "Steven" he is currently a Sgt. in the Army, he served in Afghanistan for 1 1/2 yrs and is now stationed in Germany. Steven is a very strong man, he has been through so much and has overcome it all. He found his way in life to be able to stand "Proud". When he was first deploying to Afghanistan and I was totally freaking out he said "Mom, this is important I need to go over there so I can protect you, he said I want to keep the fighting over there not over here". I could not be anymore proud of my son. Thank you Steven for who you are and everything you do. I Love you. Our military, who gives up so much to go overseas to fight for our freedom, they miss out on special times with their wives, husbands, children, and family all to protect us and give us our freedom. A special thanks to Cameron, Eric, James "Jimmy", Ridgeway, Nick, Pytel, Mikeska and all the special friends who fought along side my son. They say "Freedom isn't Free" and it's not, for it comes with a major price. Thank you to our military for everything you have given. My Grandmother who is now deceased as of 12-19-07 she was not only my grandmother but one of my best friends, who was always there for me and my son. She taught us what being a family is all about. I will always carry a part of her with me. My mother who has sacrificed so much of her life for her family, I'm proud to call her "Mother" and to have her as a best friend. My Aunt Carole, she introduced me to God and has helped me all my life to keep my life in check. Asking her for advice don't expect to hear what you want to hear, she will tell you what God would say. Thank you God for all these wonderful people in my life.
Create Your OwnMy son is an Army man, a freedom-fighter for our land. Once a boy learning right from wrong, Now a soldier - proud and strong.I prayed "Dear Jesus "Save my son!" He answered me with an "Army of One". Now I pray "Please keep him safe, from the enemies he will face.Courage and faith to light his way, And your peace throughout each day. Guide him through his Army life and give him strength for any strife.I know you care because you hear, I pray you will keep him safe and near. A prouder Mom there cannot be, Thank You Lord for hearing me."
