Basically... I am a 22 year old DJ, producer, promoter but mainly just an overage student from Huyton in Liverpool. Huyton's most famous for producing footballers Steven Gerrard & Peter Reid. Huyton was also the constituency for the late ex-Prime Minister Harold Wilson haha but I bet you really didnt wanna know that! I have a good education and can actually be quite interesting when you get to know me! Id say my best friends would use words such as wierd, strange cat, stress-head, crank & other such words along them lines to describe me, yet they all really love me deep down!! I have a Scottish dad, scally mum, Canadian brother & my sister has just given birth to baby Joshua James Warnock, making me an uncle to her son, plus I have a girlfriend called Martine who ive only started seeing this year, she's pretty amazing like. I have djed in many places across the northwest and these include Nation, Jaxx, BED, Boutique, Passion aka Funky Box and The New Revoluton (L'pool), Fragile, Assembly & Work! (St Helens), Pada Lounge (Wigan), Reef (Widnes) and Viva & Plastik in Ibiza to name but a few!!!!! That's me in a nutshell, now I will explain my whole life from day one til now if u can be bothered reading the rest... My Biography - Born 9th March 1986 in Whiston Hospital, 3rd child to my wonderful parents affectionately known as mum and dad. I spent my early years as a mischievious youngster.. goin missing on a cruise ship at the age of 3 and causing utter chaos, phoning 999 when I had chicken pox at the age of 4 and when I was 8 I decided to cut my own hair, with dreadful results. I was an average kid in school and got pretty good grades. At the tender age of 11 I started to learn guitar, not knowning it would probably change my life for good!! At the age of 12 I was to form a band, known originally as Impact then as Surge, with best school mates Aaron, Danny, Joe and Mark. The band was successful - Surge playing at gigs that included The Picket, Lomax (L2), Masque and Empire Theatre for a charity event. We recorded several cd's, some of them on out own in a living room using a 4-track recorder haha! I was eventually kicked out the band because I went to an everton match instead of a gig, but never the less, music was imprinted in my soul.. I went on to complete grade 5 (GCSE equivalent) on the guitar and then finally stopped playing. While at Carmel college I started to move away from music such as punk and rock I discovered dance music wasnt so bad after all.. I admit I had spent years disowning it!! I was 17, popped my first pill and raved on in the Pleasure Rooms... It was to change my life.. I became a little druggy for a while and got right into scouse house and djing, like any typical scouse teenager! After a while my family discovered I was on the Echo's and I had to calm my ways down.. Besides I was beginning to get bored of the scatty rooms and was trying my best to enjoy funky house! Eventually.. it worked and after a DJ residency in Jokers, St helens.. I had leaned away from scouse and was well into "funky" Ibiza 2006 was unbelievable, I couldnt believe how good that island was and even tho I lost 700 euros (£504 at the time) on my 3rd night at Gatecrasher, I still managed to have the time of my life!! I got back from Ibiza with house music firmly taking over my life! From that moment on I saved as many pennies as possible for the next summer, as I was determined to live in Ibiza for the summer season, which i did!! Between the two summers tho my djing progressed and I had one or two residencies in some bars, not really worth mentioning.. but highlights of that year include djing in Jaxx and warming up for Fragiles Dave Booth, Jay Balmer, Ben Jones and the guest DJ Mr Mike Di Scala himself!! I managed to play in other clubs in the region and began to earn some wages while still working at Britannia Taxis, an employment that dominated my life for 3 years and to this day I think has left mental issues with me for life haha! Oh well!! May 2007 came and I jetted off for the White Isle.. Although it wasnt what I expected.. Partying was decent.. clubs were brilliant.. drugs are bad!! And after 14 weeks I left the island prematurely to arrive home in August in time for my dads birthday (awwww)!! Since then I have guest djed in numerous clubs in and around Liverpool that include Nation, BED, Passion and The Boutique!! I have finally turned my efforts towards producing although I admit I am only a baby when it cums to producing.. I have much to learn!! I have made a couple of tunes.. nothin worth mentioning and I have basically been in college doin bits and bobs and promoting a few nights in Liverpool that include the infamous Medication @ Nation! In 2008 i would like to get a night of my own going in or around Liverpool and I hope to carry on developing my production skills and create sum lovely tunes to be banged out in the area! Peace..
