MOTTAFAPOTTA

About Me

Mottafapotta is a musical chemistry project. Our recordings combine elements of live band analog tracking with electronic/MIDI instrumentation and programming. We don't discriminate with regard to genre. The roots of the project trace back many years ago when Mike Shirley and Derick Young began writing and recording material as members of live original rock bands. Over time the music and methods have evolved, and the players have changed, but our approach has always been to mix together sounds and see what sparks. We are close to completing the recording for our first release, and are interested in working with other musicians in the ATL area.Join the mailing list below to access some of our unfinished tracks, and let us know what you think. Thx
