Myspace LayoutsAssalamualaikum & Hello! My name is Mohammad Arash Bin Azman.Since I been in “Myspace†there is few question been ask about me and my carrier. This is all because of my buddies Tengku Daniel, start from his comment.I been stuck with question each day. So,I will answer all those question in here. What did you originally aspire to be?“A lawyer. It was a practical decision, and at 17, I wasn’t really aware of the choice out there. It seemed that the best options would be either a doctor, lawyer or an economist. I was terrible in numbers and law seemed interesting and guaranteed a stable career path. An added bonus was that it made my parents very happy!â€Did you pursue your dream?“I went to NUS(S’pore), graduated in 1996 and after being called to the Bar, started work as a litigation lawyer specializing in matrimonial law. I enjoyed the adversarial nature of court work and the satisfaction of having made a difference in my clients’ lives-it was fulfilling to be able to help someone. But after three years, it started to get monotonous, so I switched to corporate law. It was incredibly tiring, I worked 16 hour days for lengthy periods and though the financial rewards were great, it put a real damper on my social life.†How did you get into your current line of work?“One of my oldest friend had opened up IT consultant company, and when I could. I used to spend time there sneaking around and helping out. I’ve always enjoyed to learn something new and I liked the idea of having part time job there. I learn very fast and I made up my mind to further my study in Computer Programming. Now, I already grad and I had 2 degree in law and computer programming. Technically, my parent at first aren’t so pleased with this! But, after I built my own business empire (both,IT n Law). They proud at me,hehehe.Do you ever regret not following your original career choice?“I do miss law for the adventure trail. But as a computer programmer is rewarding me some free time. My quality of life has definitely improved and it’s not as stressful as my previous job! I just think that if you’re going to explore other careers you should do it while you’re young and can afford to make mistakes. I’m lucky to have law as a career I can return to.â€
