About Me

Another era ended. Full Tilt went out with a bang...and a crash...and a crack as our singer Dawn broke her foot during the show. She finished the evening, though, I'm damned proud to say...and thanks again to my bud Chris Robberts for filling in on drums at the 11th hour! Thanks also to Victor and Dave for great jammage over the last couple or years, and to Kelly and Johnny for their time in the band as well.Void Cathedral's new site is up!!! Check it out- www.voidcathedral.comWelcome to the innards of my musical brain.Hey there, all...I'm a rock/blues guitarist here in 'Burque, currently jamming with local bar band Full Tilt and using this as a place to air some original musical ideas! I'm usually in a few projects at a time, and I realize sometimes that ideas need to be tackled, recorded, and heard before my pointy little mind forgets them in favor of the next ones. I've previously used this site for potential collaborations, but for now I'll just post the tunes and random musical bits that flow through my mind, heart, and fingers. For fans of former bands of mine (including Void Cathedral, Evenkeal, Brutal Roots, etc.), contact me for any old MP3s laying around! Welcome aboard, this ride will likely get kinda weird...

So, I've been banging away at this "mandatory evil e-minor" riff I've had for years and years...and I can't find a song to hang off of it.  I pick it up, twist it around, then put it back down an...

The Holidays...and why I’m killing my apps.

I've decided recently that I'm determined to curse my own enjoyment of the holidays.  Every year I get that little tingle, that special something that comes with the nip in the air and my wife's ...

Letting go of an old grudge

Maybe I'm gaining patience with age, maybe I'm just lacking the energy to sustain the ill feelings.  Maybe I'm finally realizing it didn't matter anyway. In any case, I'm starting to lose my grudg...

Sometimes, things simply go as planned.  The trick is remembering the plan in the first place.......I should problably clarify that, methinks.Last year, my cover band-Full Tilt-had the other guit...

So. 2008...already? Dammit!

Well, we greet a new year (I greeted it with the usual tragic self-poisoning) with a list of stuff that's already almost 2 years overdue.  Yeeeee-ikes.  I gotta get things rolling on the sol...
