Dragonflies represent the spirits of loved ones and SkinGod’s music brings them closer to us. Whether playing an acoustic show at a local coffee house or opening for Bruce Springsteen at Giant's Stadium, Skingod's music paints a sonic landscape of gorgeous longing.
Inspired by the likes of Radiohead, The Cure, U2, David Bowie, Chopin and Debussy; SkinGod’s soaring anthemic melodies, brooding lush guitars, and trancelike tribal rhythms evoke feelings of love, loss, pain of addiction and the hardest of all, joy.
SkinGod has recently performed at Rockwood Music Hall, Crash Mansion, New York City’s Howl Festival, Florida Music Festival 2008 and Webster Hall as the 2008 Emergenza National finalists. From 4,500 bands, SkinGod was chosen to be on the 2008 Emergenza World Compilation CD.
Their recently released EP “Frailty†has caught fire internationally and nationally on iTunes and is currently in rotation at all Guitar Center locations. Harris radio, a 24/7 internet radio station has Frailty in constant rotation. Fans anxiously await the newest release “Pale†which promises to reveal evermore the depth of their musical journey.
