About Me

.. width="425" height="350" .. Ive been breathing for 18 years and I almost stopped when I realized I had to graduate from my performing arts high school, and actually move on with life. I was a dance major at that school, and even now I'll tell you there's no better place in the world. i love art. of any kind. at any time. and I believe it is essential to a true education.. if it werent for art, education would just be a list of facts on a test.. which too many schools make it out to be. At the moment I'm a "theatre kid" at one of the biggest jock schools- Penn State University Park. I find the colors orange and pink to be uplifting and lucky on some occassions and I wouldn't mind marrying shia labeouf from even stevens on disney channel I grew up in maryland, then was forced to adapt to hunting country in PA. Despite my ongoing efforts to keep PA far from being loved- ive met the most amazing people here whom i wouldn't trade for the world, and I still hold those from MD close to my heart... also j'espre qu'un jour, j'habiterai en France et danserai dans l'opra de paris... je me retournerai un trs trs bel homme! oh la la! et puis, ensemble, nous aurions de trs beaux enfant... haha. zut alors! finally- I enjoy this quote because I believe it explains why I am the way I am and how I think..."Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." People always claim to be independent thinkers, but in reality they dont understand it when others question the crowd... they claim to question the crowd and not be mindless lemmings, but in reality they shun those who actually do question the crowd... think about it. this next quote is basically the reason why i want to make art my life, because i agree with this statement.. "one of the strongest motives that lead men to art and science is escape from everyday life with its painful crudity and hopeless dreariness, from the fetters of one's own ever-shifting desires. A finely tempered nature longs to escape from the personal life into the world of objective perception and thought." If I can escape everyday life forever by making art my life... I will.
