Robby The Elf

Well, it all started back in the day, when Santa was visiting the mall in Michigan. The Michigan Mall, I think. You see, back then, Santa used to have elves accompany him while traveling. I mean, do you really think it's Santa that feeds the reindeer and cleans up after them? Ew..

Anyways, I'm Robby the elf. Half elf on my mama's side, Eva Elf. Bobby Becker, one fly guy local dude, saw my mom and it was love at first sight. And a little elf magic too. Yeah, Dad thought Mom's the "bomb". Mom remained after Christmas at a small elf colony off the shores of Lake Michigan. The North Side. It's located on the north side of the south side of Michigan. Mom and Dad started dating and fell in love. Oh, they had their own ideas of problems, nevermind the additional ones that occur in intercultural relations. But with love, patience, and understanding, they made it all work out. Mom and Dad got married, and before you knew it, I was born. I was so cute Mom said my face belonged on a stamp. I got to learn about both humans and elves. Dad taught me how to shoot hoops and football. Mom tutored me in elf history and folklore. How some elves didn't like the bitter cold and the North Pole. They started migrating south into Greenland, which isn't very green, and Ireland. But I have this thing for cookies. So the Keebler's always sparked my interest. The Keebler's are a family of elves that were among the others that didn't like that didn't like the cold. They like to make cookies and moved south to live in a tree. I spent most of my teenage years looking for them. I don't know where they live, all I know is it isnt' in any tree in Michigan.

I eventually gave up my quest and went back to school at Lake Michigan State University, a school specifically for elves. I studied toys, but majored in chair building. I learned to build different designs of iRockers, chairs for ipods. 'Cause they're cool. And while building chairs is enjoyable, I always had a desire to entertain. I always wanted to be the first elf rapper. And while I may not be the first elf to break out, I wanted to bring about the awareness that just like Santa, yes, we do exist, and to possibly not only inspire other elves to make this bold leap, but also to influence the minds of humans to become the person in you. I discussed my ambitions with Santa. I explained my desire to perform. Santa understood and supported me by saying, "Do what you do."

I told my Mom what I was going to do, and she started crying. I said, "It's not like I haven't been away from home before." She said, "But you've always only been around elves." Mom said, "People are different. Not all people are as courteous and polite as elves. And there are different kinds of people. And people are different even among the different kinds of people. Not everyone has the same experiences and lessons learned. Just because someone does something different than you doesn't make them right or wrong, but different. Each person is different just like snowflakes. Snowing would be less spectacular if they were all the same." I said, "Wow Mom, that's deep." She said, "And if you are to live among people, then you must live as they live. That means no elf magic. You must work and understand what they feel and how they live."

So now I'm currently livin', hangin', chillin', workin', and writin', in the Upstate of South Carolina. I'm about halfway between Charlotte and Hotlanta. Such a beautiful area with 4 seasons. Now, it's been a struggle working the underground. No record company is gonna sign me simply because I know Santa. Some of them don't even believe in him anyways. But listen, I gotta peace out in a minute. Just don't allow haters who are afraid to be bold, control and dictate to both elves and people to remain conservative and average.
