FOURFUNTY

The FOURFUNTY were founded in 2003 as a music production team. After only a few months of work in the studio, the members had established very harmonic ties and started evolving their project into a live session, in order not to work only in the studio. The Fourfunty consist of four members: the brothers Enrico (El Gabso) and Marco (Marcus T), keyboard player and drummer respectively; and the two DJs Francesco (Frank Fonema) and Alessandro (Al Emme).Their shared passion for music has created a unique form of collaboration between the members, because all of them add their own music experiences to the team, so the project has changed and evolved continuously. The mixture of DJs and live musicians is an exciting spectacle which successfully involves the audience every time. In their sets they use samplers, synthesizers, electrodrums, filters and effect-generators, the two DJs work on four decks at the same time. In the clubs they are always a success, because the public doesn’t see only one DJ as usual, but four artists, who always do their best. For all this, the club managers regularly hire the Fourfunty, laying the artistic direction of parties in their hands, for example in Berne at Le Club, where the successful series Le Panic started, and then at the Prestige with the series Wanted; in Biel, at the Lifting Club the series is even called Fourfunty live session. At this time they are also invited in clubs like the Oxa in Zurich, the Loft in Lucerne, the Orient and Kammgarn in Schaffhausen, the Take 5 in Biel; and all this over the course of one year!Not to forget is the fact that the four artists continue to produce in the studio regularly.
