I'm a school counselor at Vallivue Middle School, an elder ('cause I'm one of the oldest ones) at Cornerstone Worship Center a Bible believing post-modern church (is there such a thing?) in Nampa. I play guitar in an oldies band called Zamar with my friends Curt Bedell and some drummers who will remain anonymous until they want to admit they know us, coach soccer, am interested in the healing of minds, bodies, attitudes and nations through Jesus. I'm also a political junkie. I have the coolest family ever--the hottest and most loving wife, the three best sons since The Three Stooges, and the finest young daughter in the world (don't tell her I said that--she'll stick out her moldy 12-year-old tongue and say, "Whatever!" I like old detective movies where the bad guys lose and the good guys are good. I'm busily engaged in trying to fix the world...a most challenging task-since a pre-req for that seems to be I have to fix me, or at least keep up the process. I sort of took a hiatus from that during Christmas and OCD like played Solitaire on the computer between the debates and politics. I keep my spirits up by quietly (mostly) lying on the floor (on top of the heater) waiting until God shows up and I know it's all going to be ok again.
