Im a DJ/Bedroom producer from the grand city of BRADFORD.I would describe my sound as bouncy minimal techno although i have in the past and will continue to flirt with other styles. My favourite producers include Hawtin, Alex Under, Damien Schwartz, Adam Beyer and Audion. I have been DJ'ing for around 6 years now and producing for 2. During which time I moved to Edinburgh to study before returning to Bradford in september 2006. Bradford has treat me extremely well since then, particularly in meeting fellow DJ, Jonny Woodhead. Me and Jonny began playing together hosting the back room at the Love Apple. From this we decided to start up our own independant night and Tokyo was born. This ran succesfully for almost a year at Bradford Uni, and also later the PM bar shipley, and occasionally back at the love apple. It also gave me the oppertunity to play numerous guest slots at some of Bradfords finest nights including a bi-monthly residency at bops, where i have played alongside Kevin Gorman, Lorenzo Kuritzu and Bopstag. Last September as Tokyo we co-hosted and promoted an experimental night called Bradford Underground, with Traffic Magazine, putting on some large acts including Aquasky, The Rogue Element and Steppa as well as plenty of quality up and coming acts, across 3 rooms. Tokyo however was forced to retire, and 2008 should pose a new challenge...with our new night VOID. Also a joint venture with Turn it down to 30, called Wrekless, to be hosted at the love apple.
