About Me
My affinity for entertainment began at an early age. While in high school, I was named the Best Male Actor for playing the Walter Lee role in Raisin in the Sun, made famous by Sidney Poitier. Subsquently, I was selected to spend a year traveling wit the Up With People troupe as a singer and dancer.My comedy career actually began in Tucson at a local comedy club called Tequila Mockingbird in the 1980s. I tailored my early acts after my favorite comedians of the time, Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor. As my act matured and became my own, I blossomed from Tequila Mockingbird to Laffs Comedy Club located in Tucson, Oklahoma City, Colorado Springs and Alburquerque. Quickly I made the ascent from opener to feature to headliner.I have traveled around the country making a name for myself while featuring and headlining at various clubs including Comedy Works, Laffs Comedy Club and Bonker's Comedy Club. In addition I've been a regular feature at The Improv performing in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Tampa and headlining and hosting several times at The Orlando Improv. I have also made an apperance on BET's Comic View and toured with Def Jam Military Tours and Scenic Route Comedy Improvisational Troupe. I have shared the stage with some of today's hottest comedians including Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Somore, Cheryl Underwood, Bill Bellamy, Chris Rock, Norm McDonald and Dana Carvey (both of Saturday Night Live fame), Joe Torrey and D.L. Hughley.Currenlty I am residing in Orlando FL and I perform on a regualr basis at the Orlando Improv as well as at other local venues. In addition to comedy, other accomplishments include studies as a classical pianist, a martial arts expert, an ex-soccr semi-professional athlete, an actor and a singer/songwriter. I've appeared as a movie extra in Thunder Road, a principle in a Miller Lite commercial and the lead character in a production of America's Most Wanted.To date, my unique intellectual view on marital status, sexual relationships and the social state of people of all races has led to my career spanning a successful 22 years and counting.
