Influences:Elena Satine was born in Tbilisi,Georgia(former USSR), into a musical family, and began her professional career at the tender age of 5 when she became a part of the Georgian pop sensation "Nergebiâ€, an ensemble much like the Mickey Mouse Club, consisting of children who could act, sing, dance and play instruments. Elena toured with the ensemble throughout Eastern Europe and later branched off into performing solo on some of the biggest stages of Russia. At age 7 Elena with her parents moved to Sochi,Russia where she began her solo singing career. At age nine, already a winner of numerous national stage awards, Elena became the youngest performer to headline at "Kinotavr"-International Film Festival. Elena is a classically trained pianist, having attended one of the top instrumental conservatories in Russia. After graduating at age 11, she began composing music and writing lyrics. In 1997, on a trip to NYC with her mother (a professional opera singer), the two stumbled across a high school for the performing arts in the heart of Times Square holding open auditions. With a plane ticket back home for later that week, Elena decided to give it a try just for fun, and was accepted on the spot. Now, Elena is a recent graduate of the prestigious Professional Performing Arts School (Alumni include; Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, Clair Danes... ) with honors in Vocal, Musical Theatre and Drama. After appearing in numerous stage productions in NYC, Elena was offered a the part of Maureen in the Broadway production of RENT. Elena passed on the offer to move out to Los Angeles in pursuit of an acting career. Now at 20 years old, Elena still hasn't been forgotten by her adoring fans in Russia. She is currently living in LA and working as an actress/siger/songwriter/model.
