I'll listen to just about anything from Rock to salsa and merengue..except country.. well, most country anyway, there are a few songs I can put up with... And if you know me well enough you'll know I can rarely stand rap but I'm willing to make an exception for this. Make sure you watch it, it'll be worth your time.
Anything fiction, fantasy.. books about history, specially wars. hmm... Oh. and books about other countries. ^_^
Seriously now... Is it sad to say that all my heroes are dead people? My all time number one hero was also my best friend, Derrell. There was just something about him that made me want to be like him. He always made everyone laugh, even when he was going through some of the worst moments in his life. He taught me so much before he died. He was like a brother to me. He died from cardiac arrest in his home October 23, 2004 at the age of 17...I still miss him.My other hero is this guy that I don't think most people have ever heard of. His name was Jonny Kennedy and he died at the age of 36 from cancer, but the cancer only took hold because of this disease named DEB (Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa) which literally causes the skin to fall off. There's this website, I think it's DEBra.org, and it teaches more about the disease, but, the reason that this stranger is my hero is because he never lost his sense of humor, even when he knew he was about to die. And I guess because of the way in which he looked at things. He reminded me so much of Derrell, that I just couldn't help it. They made a show about him on TLC. It was called The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off. Everyone should watch it and I think you can still find it if you go to http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/boywhoseskinfelloff/boywho seskinfelloff.html Trust me, it'll be more than worth your time.
