About Me

You know, we myspacers tend to take quizzes and post our results on our pages. Isn't it funny how we only put up our results if we like them? It's a way to say, "hey, not to honk my own horn, but blogthings.com told me that i was all these good things." So I've decided to do away with my quiz results and tell it staight- good, as well as the bad. This list continues to grow for all time, for a person's thoughts, beliefs, and feelings are infinite. What you see here are just glimpses into my truth; please don't be deceived into believing that you understand my mind's path. However, I have not lied to you, I've simply kept back pieces of my life for those whom are of utter trustworthyness, and who truly wish to know. For everyone else, here is a assortment of details. They are, by themselves- unimportant, but when woven together on life's loom, they create the fabric of my existence...I: love my mom, despise being lied to, will always keep your secret, am glad my dad isn't going to move back in, love old things, am not an optimist, am very good with English grammar, can fit my fist inside of my mouth, love to worship Him, like playing hop-scotch, wish I could speak a Romantic language, hate scary movies, love to debate, shake very badly when I'm nervous or tense, can eat a pound of cherries without getting sick, love sitting closely, keep things inside, can lick my elbow, wish I could show you myself, love cool nights outside, would rather swim in a pool than the ocean; could stare at hieroglyphics for hours, at times speak before thinking; think that poetry is captivating, makes me introspective, and cultivates ideas and beliefs; sometimes feel poor, adore Italian food, miss having a sister, wish people wanted to know more about the way I am under my mask, love to think about things until I fully understand them, wish I wanted to read the Bible more, only have real conversations over the phone with a select few people, think hoop-skirts would be fun, and think it's interesting how deeply thoughtful I become when I am alone. Learning to Breathe -Switchfoot I never, ever thought I would fall like that Never knew that I could hurt this badI'm learning to breathe, I'm learning to crawl I'm finding that You and You alone can break my fall I'm living again, awake and alive I'm dying to breathe in these abundant skies

Quotes:"Whatever you worship, you become obsessed with. Whatever you become obsessed with, you imitate. Whatever you imitate, you become.""The tragedy of life isnt in the fact of death, but in what dies inside of us while we are still alive.""In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." -Mortimer Jerome Adler"Do good by stealth, and blush to find it fame." -Alexander Pope"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." -C. S. Lewis"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." -Anne Frank"The dream is always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that is the miracle." -Anais Nin

I'd like to meet:

Those who are the living: Jennifer Garner. She's always struck me as a genuine person, not a usual trait of actresses or actors. Those to whom death is no longer a fear: Corrie Ten Boom, Belle Boyd, and Harriet Tubman. Don't know them? Look them up. Give yourself a history lesson.

Music:

Without music, life would be a mistake. -- Friederich Nietzsche --
INDIE, rock, alternative...once in a while I'll listen to some pop or hip hop but I don't like most scream. a far worse crime to humanity? country.
Athlete, Avril Lavigne, Blindside, Coldplay, Creed, Crossfade, Death Cab For Cutie, Discover America, Eisley, Emery, Flyleaf, Good Charlotte, Goo Goo Dolls, Iron and Wine, Jupiter Sunrise, Lifehouse, Machete Avenue, Mae, Manchester Orchestra, Mute Math, Taken Back, The Afters, The Format, The Fray, The Killers, Three Days Grace, Two-Thirty-Eight..."Clark Gable" - The Postal Service I was waiting for a cross-town train in the London underground, when it struck me... That I've been waiting since birth to find a love that would look and sound like a movie. I want so badly to believe that there is truth, and love is real. And I want life in every word, to the extent that it's absurd. I know you're wise beyond your years, but do you ever get the fear...that your perfect verse is just a lie you tell yourself to help you get by?

Movies:

Anchors Aweigh, Because of Winn Dixie, Brigadoon, Bourne Identity and Supremcy, Chicago, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Deja Vu, Easter Parade, Entrapment, Finding Neverland, Gone In 60 Seconds, ICE AGE 1 and 2, National Treasure, Ocean's Eleven and Twelve, Radio, Second-Hand Lions, Sentinel, Singin' In The Rain, The Fast and the Furious, The Guardian, The Island, The Italian Job, and The Thomas Crowne Affair..."Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing (and dreaming) small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us, it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permisson to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."- Coach Carter
