Fetching Zero

About Me

We're a new band....brand spanking new band. The thought was always just a kind of joking matter. It was going to be the best band you never heard and one day Liz decided to actually go through with it. She enlisted the help of good friend Jill McCafferty, who has been playing violin for years. Then she asked bass player for Emily's Gone MAd, Jane Brown what she thought over drinks and Jane also decided she'd like to play. So, Liz went in search of a drummer and guitarist and came across Rhonda Williams former drummer for Amalgam Mode, who also agreed to play. Liz was quickly forming an all female band, but she hit a road block when she couldn't find a female guitarist. Wanting to premiere the band by her 24th birthday she asked John Brown if he could fill in until someone permanate could be found, he agreed and has been helping the band write the music. Liz also asked good friend and long time inspiration Jimmie Gauge to fill in on a song and so that's how all that came to be.
The band is named Fetching Zero after Keyboardist for Emily's Gone MAd, Brandon Lynch's chubby cat Zero. The first time Liz saw Zero fetch she decided that if she ever had a band that would be the name of her band. Zero is loved by all of the Project 414 crew and anyone who has ever met the cat. He's super big, way fluffy and well....THE CAT FREAKIN' FETCHES! It's doesn't get much better than that :)
We don't have any of our music recorded yet, but soon so be patient :) We're working on getting a little teaser up here.
