My Aunt June, for her spunky red-haired personality, her love during the very first, toughest time in my life & her ability to whop the best at cards!
My Aunt Loetta & Uncle Bill, who have always taught me - by their examples, conversations, love & laughter - the true meaning of God's perfect love in an imperfect world - and above all, how to find a bit of humor in all situations.
My Aunt Janise, who has always taught me, by her example, to find my own star in life & reach for it.
My Uncle Curt, for setting the standard of common sense in all things in life & how to effectively reach life's goals.
My friend Nancy & her children, for teaching me what it can mean to someone else when one reaches out & shows true friendship & support.
My friend Miles, who, has always had the uncanny ability to see right into a person's heart through his sensitivity, who has fearlessly laid his own life out on the line time & time again for others by his belief in love & the human connection & for his unwavering faith in God - he has the soul of an angel.
My friend Heather who reminds me of a butterfly. She spreads her beautiful, protective wings over the people she loves & never fails to show them the friendly humor or a good time in life. because she sees joy wherever she goes.
My friend Andrea & her family, for their strength of love, humor & their hearts & home that's always open for their friends.
My sister Sarah, for overcoming tough obstacles in life, her infectious giggle & her big heart that doesn't know a stranger.
My mother, Christine, for never giving up on me when I was a child...even though I wasn't the easiest child to raise, for teaching me the high value of learning to set priorities, teaching me to run a warm family home and how to budget on a proverbial shoestring.
My father, Bill, who throughout all of his career successes in life taught me the true necessity for good balance between job & family, because of what happens when that's not in place...bless his soul, and for never being chauvenistic in how he raised me...his time & lessons in shooting, hunting, fishing, car mechanics and flying taught me the values of patience, strength, and independence.
