Sisters Crystal and Penni Wilson, along with Mike Blackmon who they call the ‘Mic’, electrify audiences with their eclectic repertoire of songs that include Classic R&B, Motown, Oldies But Goodies, Smooth Jazz, and Pop.Whether it be an up tempo dance track or a heartfelt ballad, their soulful sounds are guaranteed to keep your toes tappin’ and your hands clappin’.As young teens in Pittsburgh, PA, the sisters formed a group called The Lovations which led to five single releases. As a result of their tri-state success they performed with the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Lou Rawls, Della Reese, The Emotions, Jerry Butler and the late, great Junior Walker and the All-stars.In their mid-twenties the sisters relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where they soon met Mike Blackmon who had recently relocated from Detroit, MI. Their vocal blend was a perfect match. The trio continued to perform for numerous clubs, corporate and private events, wedding receptions, barmitsvahs, birthday and holiday parties.Individually and collectively they have done backing vocals for the likes of Barry White, Maurice White, Diana Ross, Toni Childs and have graced the stages of the Tonight Show, and the Grammys.
