About Me
At the beginning of 1995 he made his first contact with the electronic music through Jungle and some similar styles.
In 1998 along with few other DJs, a promoting and DJ organisation Firehouse Crew was formed. Guided by successful synthesis of the Techno and the style he plays, they organize a serial parties named as "Drum and Bass Vs Techno". He also started working as a radio DJ in Firehouse Crew show on NOMA Radio Station. He is also one of the founders of new promoting and DJ organization called "D2" and one of the artists for JR United Agency (Switzerland).
He was working as a resident DJ in all major clubs and festivals in Skopje and Macedonia and as part of his performances he shared the decks with Ed 209 (Austria), DJ Midlow (Hungary), DJ Empress (New York), Roni Size (UK) & MC Tali (NZ), Prodigy (UK), DJ Spice (UK), Paul B (Russia), Raggamuffin Whiteman (Belgium), JFB (UK), SpectraSoul (UK), Wildchild (UK), Vicious Circle (UK), Bungle (Brasil), DJ Storm (UK), Big Bud (UK), Nookie (UK), Black Sun Empire (NL), Noisia (NL)..
He also played abroad in Brasil (Sao Paulo), Switzerland (Luzern), Hungary (Budapest), Romania (Buchurest, Timisoara, Cluj, Syntplantz Ekzit Fest 05 / 06), Bulgaria (Sofia), Croatia (Zagreb), Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo), Serbia (Subotica - TrenchTown Festival, Novi Sad, Nis, Belgrade, Exit Noise Summer Fest 04).
From 20.11.2002 till 03.12.2002 in competition of 1600 DJs and producers he was chosen to take part at one of the most famous music academies, The Fifth Red Bull Music Academy in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He played several times in Susi in Trance and on 01.12.2002 along with DJ Tukatz (UK) and MC RaggamuffinWhiteman (Belgium) played on the main drum and bass stage at one of the biggest festivals in Sao Paulo, MegaVonts. After his excellent performance he was noticed by the journalist from The Knowledge Magazine and got an offer for an interview. He also gave several interviews for MTV-Ireland and played in live for John Powers radio show 626 on 2FM radio (Irish version of BBC Radio One).
With this, Darko Stepic is the first and the only Macedonian DJ who took part of the Red Bull Music Academy and showed his love and passion to the music on the South American Continent.

At the moment he writes reviews for dnb releases for The Turntable Magazine and works as a radio DJ on the only drum and bass radio show in Macedonia every Saturday from 20 till 22h on Kanal 103 Radio Station
