About Me

I am beginning this webpage for a Service Learning Project for a Women's Studies course at UCF. Although I never considered myself a feminist prior to this course, I have found the issues and platforms surrounding the movement very enlightening and pertinent to my life. I hope to be able to discuss and report many of these issues at length in the blog section of this site. I invite anyone to share their experiences, ask questions, and voice their ideas for the movement. Although I realize many issues are political in nature and very personal I do ask that everyone be considerate and not attack anyone who may have something to say. I hope that everyone who visits this page can learn as much as I have about some of the barriers placed on women, children, homosexuals, and people in poverty. Thank you for visiting!
