MODERN TIMES COMPILATION CD
It's out! The album sounds fantastic and is full to the brim with many of the outstanding musicians who have played so well for the past year and a half at the coffeehouse's Friday night Unplugged Open Mic. Swing on by the coffeehouse and pick up a copy of your very own!
As you know, the traditional format for compilations requires musicians to write an upfront personal check for a slot on the album. We rejected this “pay for play†norm and approached our regular musicians, asking for a volunteer commitment instead of money. The result was an outstanding benefit concert that drew a broad spotlight on these talented artists and helped raise the funds to make this CD possible.
This album is as much yours as it is ours. It is only because of your enormous support and well wishes that this project is now seeing the light of day. THANK YOU.
