For the past two years, Hydro Connect has added a unique flavour to the festival calendar – but the event will take a break in 2009. Connect combined impressive line ups (Bjork, Jesus & Mary Chain, Grinderman, LCD Soundsystem, Roots, Beastie Boys, Franz Ferdinand, Elbow, Glasvegas, Bloc Party and Sparks to name just a few…) with delicious food from the local Argyllshire larder and a friendly garden party vibe (albeit the back garden of a beautiful fairytale castle).We’ll miss the glamour of the burlesque and cabaret shows, hedonistic beats in Unknown Pleasures and watching bands at the Guitars & Other Machines stage. We’ll miss the freshest talent on the Your Sound Bandstand and the sunset over Loch Fyne…but most of all we’ll miss you!We are busy planning a series of intimate, innovative events for this year which will take place under the ‘Connect’ banner so stay Connected with us:
