Dimension started going to under parties and was introduced to Electronic Music. Finally finding a new life style that truly energized him in a positive way. His creativity started to bloom although at the time he felt somewhat disconnected. He wanted to do more than just observer and dance. He wanted to be a part of this movement of “Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect”.A few years passed and in the spring of 1998 Dimension ran in to Buddha a local DJ in VA, Beach. Buddha performing at an After Party at the apartment where Dimension was living. Dimension watched Buddha rock the party all night. After the party was over Buddha asked if he wanted to learn how to mix. Responding with a “hellz yea” Buddha started to explain the basics and told Dimension “I’ll leave my decks here until next weekend and if you feel ready I’ll let you mix too.” MASSIVE . . .Determined to take advantage of the opportunity. Dimension came home from work everyday for the following week to practice for six or seven hours everyday. Knowing that he was new to matching the beats and still kind of rusty with it he put together a really basic set together. Using blends from breakdowns and fading the highs, mids, and lows he pulled it off.Instantly hooked to this new medium of creativity he started his record collection of Electro, Breaks, and Funk. Dimension also started digging for vinyl to find his own style that would give him his own unique sound.To Be Continued . . .
