Signal Effect

Kill the romantics with ironic talk

About Me

Signal Effect is a reawakening of sound and a celebration of musical genre diversity. Setting themselves apart, sonically; Signal Effect assimilates emotive vocals with insightful and introspective lyrics. The guitar sound is full and melodic, incorporating accents of ethereal and atmospheric effects and tones. The rhythm section provides the backbone to the songs with definitive pulsating grooves. In unison, Signal Effect provides a provocative, memory-staining sound that embraces the limitless, liberal spectrum of sounds through experimentation interwoven into a tapestry of euphonic composition.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: signaleffect.com
Band Members: ANTHONY
RICH
BLAKE
Influences: Intangibility, Obsession, Doubt, Hope, Morning, The 8-5 Syndrome (was the 9-5 Syndrome but the world demands higher productivity), Yuppies, Technology, Humanity, Behavior Conditioning, Loneliness, Friendship, Confrontation, The ability to see beyond "first person" perspectives, Silence, Music, Chaos, Chemicals of the Brain, Systems of Control (do you think you're beyond it?), The uncertainty of how much time we have left.
Sounds Like: Ever wonder if what taste like strawberries to you might taste like grapes to someone else based of the idea of memorized categorization? I suppose we could make a nice list of bands we sound like but that would only be from our point of view which should mean absolute shit to you. We get asked this question all the time and never have an answer. Should we want to sound like our favorite bands? If so, when do we deviate to find our own sound? I guess the moral of this story is: Instead of asking what we think we sound like, ask us when our next show is and come to it to figure it out for yourself, from your own point of view.
