About Me

Half bred american indian and german descent. born and raised in the woods 11 months outa the year 100 miles north of Huslia, Alaska towards the debadl'aa (Who's) mountains. the koyukon athabscan ancestors gave the mountain this name becuase it's an old Indian/Eskimo border, old war lands. the eskimos and indians are very cool with each other now. there wasn't much left to war over after the u.s. government made their first major appearance in the 1800s. i learned all the tricks to live in the woods in the early years of my life. water from the river frozen or thawed, trapping and hunting everything from beaver and fish under the ice to bears in there den. my mom, amelia dewilde, was as tough as a moms love could be and she taught me everything from snaring rabbits to cooking for the family when it came my turn. my dad, lloyd dewilde was solid too, he taught me all the other life skills there was to learn and not to give up. i left home at the age of 18. i'm doing all right now. i got two baby girls and a son that i support and love. i met bright and hard times in the city society. mainly alcohol was the toughest, but i feel i got that bitch kicked to the curb. it still affects me, by way of family and friends though. i got this clothing line that i'm working on called hydz. it's sort of a hobby gone wild after i designed some memorial hoodies for my late mom, dad, sister, and grandmas potlatch. hydz is real designs that represents the beauty and strength of native american culture, and the warrior that native americans once were. our people have a lot of buried pride. i chose the name hydz cause that is what all of our ancestors wore with great pride and respect. call (907)687-3930 if you want to order somthing.
