A brief history...
It was a dimming 1989 as Matthew revived the blaze of synths and samplers from a tragically vanishing era. A decade submerged in performance under shadowing projects, 2002 brought surface to Martyrs for Passion, and electronic reverie to the darkness of advancing technology. 'Out with the new and in with a new-old' soon became the quest for the affection seeking masquerade. Stemming from the impact of misery and romance in the atmosphere of art and musical revolution of the 1980s, time has yet to reveal the cultural revolt of the independent in the modern space-age. Futurists and the medieval find themselves joined of passion for MFPs abstract dreams and revel at the conceptual sentiment of a ‘non-modern’ horizon. Devoted to a legacy of musical inspiration, MFP builds the foundation of a chapter yet written, and discovery of life, in the fearsome reality of pain. Electronic made music has always been the heart of MFP, drawing on life experiences, and uncommon equipment to shape its sound. Recognizing fellow artists as Depeche Mode and Thomas Dolby, it is inspiration of such instruments that has fueled pioneering. Pioneers in a new age themselves, MFP strives to dig deeper into this vein and into the hearts of its fans. The world may fall all around, but the crusade is alive...
...Past and present members of MFP include: Matthew-synths, Jordan-bass, and JohnDoeNation-drums | pre-1996 include: Yadah-rhythm, Mike O.-bass, Jeff M.-guitar, Chuck G.-stage theatrics.

Reviews...
"Let me start off by saying that i absolutely love your music. It reminds me of so many different bands without giving me the idea that you are being a copycat. Some of the bands i think of are [early] Mad at the World, Resurrection Eve and Joy Division"... -Balaam's Miracle, Netherlands-
"If I were to compare to other music I've heard, I would say it's Mark Lane meets Joy Division. But then again it doesn't even sound like that"... -Jósef K, Iceland-

Warning about Mp3 listening...*Compressed sound reproduction(i.e. Mp3, WMA, compressed DVD, XM radio, digital TV etc.) is known to desensitize and damage hearing, resulting in tinnitus, hearing loss and prolific debasement even at low listening levels. The missing audible information in these formats exploits calibration of the brain to cochlea(inner-ear) interpretation of sound, altering fundamental auditory perception. We do not recommend long exposure to these sound formats but more the quality formats on which audio was intended.*
