About Me

this page is designed for people who love from first to last, Sonny Moore Matt Good, Travis Richter,Derek Bloom
*FAN RUN PAGE*From First to Last originally started as a high school pop punk band called First Too Last, fronted by current guitarist Matt Good. Later on, Travis Richter was added as a second guitarist. Shortly thereafter Joey Antillion (bass) and Gregi Taylor (drums) joined up. By the time they came to record their first EP Aesthetic, Phillip Reardon (vocals) had joined and Greg had been replaced by Derek Bloom. Greg now plays drums for No Idea Records-signed The Holy Mountain.
Reardon left the band citing musical differences right before the recording of Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count and formed a band called The New Tragic. The band decided they needed someone who could lead the band, since Reardon mainly screamed and Good had to focus on guitar; so after Reardon's departure, Sonny Moore joined the group. He was found by the band on the networking site MySpace and was asked to audition. He originally had come it to try for a spot on guitar, but the band realized Moore was a good singer and they quickly asked him to front the band. Joey was replaced by bassist Jon Weisberg, and with this lineup, the band recorded Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count.
In late 2004, Jon Weisberg was kicked out of the band and subsequently sued for $10 million. According to Sonny Moore, "Jon told us numerous times that he wasn't sure if this is what he wanted to do. Then he left in the middle of our tour with Bad Religion [in late 2004], and we had to get our tour manager at the time to learn all the bass parts in a day so we could stay on the tour." Weisberg claimed he felt like he was "getting screwed over."[1]. He has since dropped the lawsuit and formed theTRAGIC. The band employed ex-Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland for the recording of Heroine and subsequent touring. Alicia Simmons played bass for the band on their Dead by Dawn 2 Tour.
On March 21st, 2006, From First To Last released Heroine. Shortly thereafter, they signed to major label Capitol Records.
The band was scheduled to play the 2006 Vans Warped Tour, but were forced to drop out due to surgery removal of a nodule on singer Sonny Moore's vocal cords. The band had discussed doing a fall/winter club tour with Wes Borland's band Black Light Burns, on which Borland will also play bass with the band, although this seems unlikely with the announcement of their upcoming tour.
In the Fall of 2006, FFTL was supposed to partcipate on the World Champions Tour headlined by Atreyu, also including Every Time I Die and Chiodos. The news was well received by fans as an assurance of not only the return of From First to Last to the stage, but the full recovery of Sonny Moore after his two vocal surgeries during the summer. However, on October 26th, 2006, From First to Last was either kicked off, or left of the World Champions Tour, depending on either band's points of view. On that day, a bulletin was posted on From First To Last's Myspace stating, "We regret to inform you (the fans) that we have been "kicked" off tour. We did everything possible to stay on this tour. Sonny would not have been able to sing due to a tear in his vocal chord, but would have been on stage playing guitar while Craig, of Chiodos, would handle singing duties for the remainder of the tour. Our plan to enable us to play the rest of the tour was disregarded and as our crew was setting up for the show in Worcester, MA we were informed that we were being kicked off of the tour. Understand that it was not our choice to leave this tour... we were forced to leave. Once again we apologize... to you (the fans)... to everyone who bought a ticket to see us play... to the KVLT... if we were allowed to be on the rest of this tour we would be." This came to a shock to many fans and disappointment as well especially since they dropped out of Warped Tour this summer.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

SONNY MOORE-Moore was born in the city of Los Angeles and has two brothers, Justin and Mike; and one sister, Cassy. He later moved to San Francisco when he was two years of age, but returned to Los Angeles when he was 12 years old. He then formed his first band, At Risk, in which he did vocals and rhythm guitar. Moore received his first guitar at the age of nine and taught himself to play the instrument. Shortly before he turned 16, Moore discovered that he was adopted. This major event in his life has gone on to influence parts of his music as heard in the title track and the song "Afterbirth" on the bands album, Heroine. Moore is now, however, on good terms with his adoptive parents Scott and Francis Moore, whom he previously thought were close family friends. His father works as an insurance claims agent and his mother is a housewife. He met From First to Last band mate Matt Good on the internet through Myspace and flew out to Valdosta, Georgia approximately two weeks after his 16th birthday, where the band was recording. Moore joined the band three days later. Originally Moore was to be the band's guitarist but was asked to be the vocalist after the band heard him singing 'Featuring Some Of Your Favorite Words' in the vocal booth. Moore later dropped out of La Canada Highschool to pursue his career with From First to Last.Moore has recently been struggling with his vocals. He and From First to Last left Van's Warped Tour in 2006 due to Moore's throat surgery to remove a nodule on his vocal chords. From First to Last was also scheduled to tour on The World Championship Tour along side Atreyu, Every Time I Die and Chiodos, but left on October 26, 2006, due to a tear in his vocal chord. On that day, a bulletin was posted on From First To Last's Myspace stating, "We regret to inform you (the fans) that we have been "kicked" off tour." It was originally planned that Chiodo's vocalist, Craig Owens would take over singing duties, temporarily on tour and Moore would still remain on stage as a basist
