About Me

I've been making music since early 2003. I started out just using my computer and different programs such as Fruity Loops, and Mixman Studio. I released my first album, "DJ Schuby's Digital Empire" in February of 2003. My second album, "50/50" was released about a year later in March of 2004. It was the last album I would do completely on the computer.
In August of 2004 I got my first set of turntables and a mixer. A month later (after I was barely able to beatmatch) I released another album called "Schuby Dorfmeister the D and J Sessions". This album was held together by more mistakes than anything else. I would spend the next five months mastering my beatmatching and mixing skills.
Those five months were well worth it, as I released one of my finest albums in February of 2005, "Bread and Butter". "Bread and Butter" was comprised mostly of hard trance with a mix of progressive trance.
Almost two years later, I released my very latest album, "The Masquerade". "The Masquerade" is a mix of hard trance and hard house. "The Masquerade" is the first time I have made an entire album available for download on an internet site.*
At the moment I currently spin on two Ion Itt02a turntables, and one Ion Imx02 mixer. I also use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 for remastering.

Sounds Like: Not sure. I could name a thousand different artists I sound like. If you know me and know my stuff, you'd understand why I'd say that. I guess I sound like Paul Oakenfold back in the day before he started to suck, or DJ Tiesto. However, I'm getting into more expiramental stuff like classical and jazz music and that makes me say I sound more like..... Well, not really sure. All the expirmental artists I can think of right now don't really mess around with jazz or classical music, but my technique is very similar to Mix Master Mike, and Fatboy Slim. But Fatboy Slim is still much better than I am.

Another good reason why Wal-Mart sucks

http://www.spiegel.de/international/spiegel/0,1518,445882,00 .html Wal-Mart banned a guy from their store because the manager thinks he looks like Osama Bin Laden.
