So this is it...they say i'm going to be entering the "real world" makes me kinda wonder what world i have been living in for the past 4 years in college. Well...guess in some way when you have the ocean in front of you and the mountains behind, you tend to think you are in paradise. The name is Ruth, the family calls me Ruthie, the friends call me anything from "eh root!" to "rooster" to "rooof" I embrace all those names. For those wondering, no i'm not Filipina, I'm what they know in Singapore as straits-born Chinese, it's complicated ask me if you wanna know. And no...Singapore isn't in China and yes we are a tiny island in South East Asia.but for now, I'm in L.A and loving every minute of it. Though the traffic really gets to me sometimes, I am always amazed by its beautiful sunsets. I love this place an plan to be here for awhile.... but this is what i call home This is Singapore, This is home
