Obviously, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool metalhead but, believe it or not, I enjoy all genres of music. From classical to jazz, rap, pop, country, soul, blues, classic rock, you name it. I feel it is important to have a wide range of musical knowledge and I try to encourage others to keep an open mind, musically. For instance, my biggest musical influences are Bach, Beethoven, Niccolo Paganini, John Williams, Les Paul, Roy Clark, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Albert Collins, Danny Gatton, Robert Johnson, Elton John, the Bee Gees and Django Reinhardt to name a few and they are as far from metal as you can get. To draw a comparison, I like pizza, but I don't want to eat it every day...

I'm not much of a book reader. I prefer magazines or "how-to" books.
