I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

Before I start with my introduction I'd like to state that unlike other MySpace users I don't treat my friends list like some sort of popularity contest and will NOT add every single person who tries sending me a message.I'm Chris. I am American (and proud of it :P) of Mexican descent, I have a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, I study the Korean language (seriously o.o), I play the piano, I am very liberal in my politics and I'm also involved with the American Green Party. One thing you'll notice about me is my pride to be American. So much that a lot times you'll see me wearing a shirt that's of the Marines. I have one that says "When It Absolutely, Positively Has To Be Destroyed Overnight!" *****US Marines*****. That one gets quite a few glances. And now I'm a Private First Class in the US Marine Corps, currently stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma for my MOS school: 0811 Field Artillery Basic Cannoneer. With that in mind, most people won't really believe or at least take a long time getting used to the fact that I'm also so liberal and tolerant. I'm not a Republican and hardly a conservative and I don't support Pres. Bush, but I'm not the type of person who says "F*** Bush" or call him a fascist. Cuz we're all unique and we'll NEVER agree on everything, but when you disagree at LEAST do it in a civilized way. If anything I can be seen as a prime example of "looks can be deceiving". So much that I'm also a vegetarian, believe it or not. I started in January 2006 and have been one ever since. I honestly feel better both physically and emotionally, which is great since I went through so many bouts of depression and one thing I attributing to getting over it is just by becoming a vegetarian.Others reasons are just for the health benefits as I lost a total of 56 pounds because of it along with regular exercise and it's also for my love of animals. One way of looking at it with my stance against the death penalty. Yes I really am against because why should we lower ourselves to a level so close to murder? And in the case of animals, they never committed a crime, why do they need to be killed and eaten? Even more so is in the manner in which most commercial livestock are killed. WAY too often it qualifies as animal cruelty.Politics aside, my music tastes are extremely broad because as long as it sounds cool I'll like it. :P People always think I'm weird for listening to Hardcore rap one second then Flamenco music the next. Is that weird? Actually, yeah I agree, but I don't care. I just get really miffed at the fact that there are so many people who always claim that they love music, but don't like a lot of styles. From my profile I'm sure you can tell that I love movies. Movies of all types, but I really don't feel that comedies (as great as they might be) are really worth paying to go to a theater for. If I had to pick one type as my favorite I'd have to say action movies and it doesn't matter if it's foreign either. I love watching foreign films and only in subtitles too. I can't honestly say what my favorite film is, but the original Star Wars Trilogy and Legend of Drunken Master (Jackie Chan is my idol) are among my top favorites, though not in any particular order either. I really like reading also. I like all types of books, but I especially love sci-fi. I even started working on a novel of my own, but eventually lost interest. I might start again later with a better understanding of science and military. I'm a nut for scientific accuracy. If anyone ever wants to talk go ahead and message me. I don't bite........ much Heehee

You Are a Prophet Soul
You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone. Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people. Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run. No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle. Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings. A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning. You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?

Music:

I like anything and everything... seriously. Anything from hardcore Gangsta Rap to Hardcore Metal and everything in between. In some cases, this sort of led me to problems with others who, in my opinion, "claim" to love music and then later start saying that they didn't like a particular music style for whatever reason. For me that's nothing short of intolerance, but just the same to each their own and means that they don't truly love music.Linkin Park Faye Wong The Offspring Eminem 50 Cent Evanescence Fear Factory Rammstein Flogging Molly Zeromancer Green Day Benny Goodman Louis Armstrong Lee Jung Hyun Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony Blick 182 Theatre of Tragedy Utada Hikaru Glen Miller Cherry Poppin' Daddies Papa Roach Candlemass From Autumn to Ashes System of a Down Saliva (Currently my favorite band) Tobymac Payable on Death Relient K Damian Marley Sean Paul Jimi Hendrix The Beatles Xzibit Gwen Stefani Tupac Shakur Molotov José Mercé Franz Ferdinand Coolio Scott Joplin Janne De Arc (a JRock band)
