About Me

My name is Michael. I am in college at Sam Houston State University. Blond hair, blue eyes. I'm a Sagittarius. That's half man, half horse; think about it. Majoring in Radio and Television. I want to be a broadcaster. I like to run, watch tv, be on the computer, hang out, go to the movies, go to museums, read books, learn, and have fun.
Talk to me sometime, message me on Myspace. That's much more convienent. I like to eat and spend money, but probably should do less of both. What I take out of my wallet goes into my stomach and I don't like where that's leading. I like to run, but not a lot. I suppose this section of the profile is where you try to give people an idea of who you are. I think you need to meet to me to do that, so do. Talk to me.
But to further elaborate on myself, here's Nobel Prize award winner President Jimmy Carter," Michael is an outstanding person. His drive for civil duty is inspiring to us all and he has a great talent for listening and recognizing both sides of a situation. His problem solving skills came in handy when I was negotiating with the North Vietnamese. He said to me, Mr President, you need to listen to them. They're both saying the same thing. Then the North fucked it all up. Michael also has a great sense of humor and humility. Over all he's an outstanding American and a just recipient of the Medal of Honor."And some one once said that I wasn't funny.
My hair-brained ideas are fantastic but they usually never ever get completed. That is changing. Some ideas have included making a movie, writing not one but THREE books, a children's book, a screenplay, a podcast, and many, many Television shows. So far, nothing, but I'm chocked full of potential. I have an 8 to 1 comment ratio. For every 8 things I say, only 1 will make sense/be funny/or be smart. It's been scientifically proven. You can't argue with science.

My Interests

The West Wing, Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, The Shield, Revelations, My dog Cash, computers are fun, I like long walks on the beach and a candle lit dinner. There's nothing like a really good book that keeps you riveted to your seat. I like riveting. I like being out on a body of water, either sailing or just cruising. Hanging out with friends. Anything that has an allusion in it to great literature. Equilibrium, Brave New World, 1984. Writing something that people will understand. Running until you can't think of anything else but your feet hitting the ground, laughing until your side hurts. South Park, Kathy Griffin, The Soup. History, broadcasting, some high school english and all of college english, learning something you didn't know five minutes before hand. Trying out, for anything. Sitting on a hill listening to classical music and watching the people below you. Vegging out. Zoning out. Freudian slips. Beautiful lips. Watching the Nasa Channel and feeling important. Someone to slow dance with. I loved the hell out of conducting a band, I think an orchestra would be better though. Daydreaming.

I'd like to meet:

The President, the Pope, someone famous, someone not famous, someone who can teach me something. I want to meet Johnny Carson. God. Bob Hope. Ronald Reagan. The Governor. Jennifer Garner. Natalie Portman. Martin Sheen. My worst enemy. The mayor of New Orleans and tell him he's crazy, Anderson Cooper, Brit Hume, Bill Mahr, Steve Jobs, Kathy Griffin. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin. Dick Cheney, Joel McHale. Bill O'Reilly. If I could go back in time, lots more people, but to many to list.

Music:

Awesome CD 1-4, Prom Mix, William Shatner - Has Been, American Pride, Star Wars Episode One Soundtrack, anything on my XM Satelite radio. I like a variety of music. Music that makes you think, or conjures an emotion, music that reminds you of something. Music is a special thing that bonds us to certain times in our lives. iTunes radio is alright. Who's to say what the soundtrack to your life would be made up of?

Movies:

Ferris Bueler's Day Off, X Men, The Incredibles, Red Dawn, Donnie Darko, War of the Worlds (both editions), Willy Wanka and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Madagascar, the Interpereter, When Worlds Collide, Fail Safe, On the Beaches. Hitchhiker's Guide To The Universe (Don't Panic), Minority Report, A Beautiful Mind.

Television:

KSHU CHANNEL 7, Anderson Cooper 360, The West Wing. I love that show. I love everything about that show and I'm sad that Martin Sheen isn't the real president. Star Trek occupies some time on the TiVo also. Over There, Kathy Griffin, The Soup, The Real World, Laguna Beach, My Super Sweet Sixteen, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Celebrity Poker Showdown, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance, America's Got Talent, 24, The Hills, Boston Legal, CSI, CSI: Miami, My Wife and Kids, Reba, Sabrina (she's hot)

Books:

The 9/11 Commission Report, Under The Banner Of Heaven, Dispatches from the Edge, Emergency Room, assorted Star Trek Novels, Citizen of the Galaxy, Starship Troopers,

Heroes:

My mom and dad, my friends, and those who lead normal lives. Almost anyone can be a hero.

Part 27 of a 200 part series on How Not to Live Your Life.

The Basketball game last night brought out the worst in people. The girl who sat behind Kevin, Jessica, and myself, and all of her friends, were the rudest people I have met in my life. No exaggeratio...
