About Me

The Owners of Stockport County F.C.

It is often said that fans cannot run a football club. Instead, the prerequisite for the role seems to be a perceived eminence in local business and a hinted-at limitless pot of cash to fall back on. These two things, I gather, are some sort of guarantee of success. Of course, if that were the case then we would find Stockport County joint second in the Premiership alongside most other teams and we wouldn't have found so much of our history to have been bleak and riddled with controversy.

This is why I am so proud to be part of Stockport County Supporters' Trust. Not only are we open and accountable, but we have within our Board so much quality - and all of that focused on a shared goal through love for the Club - that other clubs seek our advice and leadership.

If you're not a member of the Trust then please consider joining and making us bigger, stronger and pushing us to be better - all, and only, for County. If you are a member already then thank you, and I hope you have made use of the many avenues through which you can now make contact with and change our club - we're better for it.
