I just got a new recording studio computer program. The song "Fooling Around" is my first attempt to put something together on it. Still needs a lot of work. Many mistakes but who cares. I’m just having fun. I've tried to record other tunes but didn't have a lot of luck. When I try to mix it down the tracks start lagging behind. The longer the song the worse it gets. I guess its time for a faster computer. You can hear it a little on Fooling Around.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been messing around with the bass for a long time. I don’t get out and play much anymore but I jam at home all of the time. Sometimes when I go out to hear bands play, I’ll sit in on a tune or two. Other than that, I’ve not played in the club scene since the 90’s. This is due mostly to the nasty habit of my family and I needing to eat. Playing music doesn’t always keep food on the table. My career now doesn’t leave a lot of time for band playing.
(UPDATE) Due to the economy and the company I work for being bought out my work hours have been cut. I now after several years have time for a band. I am currently playing with an Ozzy Osbourne Tribute Band called "Ultimate Sin" Follow the links on my friends list to check these guys out. I'll keep everyone posted on gig dates.
Bands I've played with: Dead Aaron, Blind Taxi, E-Z Action and a few others that never made it out of the practice room. I will at times post some music from these old bands I've been in. For any of my old friends that stop by it will be a great blast from the past. For anyone just dropping by I hope you enjoy.
NEW SONG
The new song I've posted is Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home. Blind Taxi recorded this with a couple of other cover tunes for our club demo back in 1986.
NEW VIDEOS
The new videos I've posted are of the Ozzy tribute band "Ultimate Sin" The sound quality pretty much sucks but thats all I've got of this band. Hopefully we will get some good recordings soon so I can post them. I'm having a blast playing with these guys. Come and check us out at a town near you.
