..Christian Amin Varkonyi started to play traditional cuban percussion at the age of 17 in Austria.
His father, who is musician too, teached him how to play Conga.
With his 25 years experience of tradional music from all over Latino America, (mainly Cuba and Brazil)
his Father gave Christian Amin the principal inspiration for the world of Rhythm during his whole life.
It was his father aswell who showed Christian Amin the Hang for the first time and at the age of 19, he felt in love with that Instrument...it didnt take him long to get one too!
Christian Amin Varkonyi dedicates all his life to music, he is giving workshops for playing drums, doing big music projects with young human beeings in Austria, busking through Europe to spread the sound of the Hang, and hes playing in various Bands and Music Projects as a Percussionist and a Hangplayer.
"Radio Amin" is a base for musicians located in Austria where they collaborate, record and perform Hangsongs together.
"Music for the Sun" is one of the projects wich where founded through those collaborations.
