I was born 1957 in Borlänge and I have painted since the early days of my youth.
My technique is acrylic painting.
In my youth I attended evening classes. I had the opportunity to have two of the best artists from Borlänge as teachers;
Hans Tollsten and Sigge Rosén.
One thing in common for the both artists was that they preferred outdoor painting, i.e. to sit outside and paint the sceneries live. Often I participated on those occasions and in that way I started to comprehend the basics of painting.
In 1985 I attended a basic education at the upper secondary school Haraldsbo in Falun, and I was awarded with the scholarship of the year.
I have continuously improved myself by training and education. Among others teachers: Claes Jurander, Arne Isaksson, Ivar Södergren, Gunnar Brusewitz, Gösta Gierow, Jöran Österman, Anders Wallin. - study courses held at the College of Falun/Borlänge, the House of Daagarsson in Bollnäs, the House of Grunewald in Saltsjöbaden, The Graphic Workshop in Bergsjö, the Gerlesborgs School in Bohuslän and other places in Sweden.
Since the middle of the ninethees I'm a full-time artist.
Mostly I'm in to the surrealistic style ("imagination paintings"), but at the same time it's important for me to exercise with model drawing, self-portraits and still lifes.
