I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Our Mission
To enhance Alaskans’ quality of life by protecting wild places, fostering sustainable communities, and promoting recreational opportunities.

Our Vision
The natural environment is integral to Alaska’s history, politics, culture and quality of life. Alaskans depend on a healthy environment for subsistence, recreation, jobs, and peace of mind. As the state grows, it is essential that human development occurs in harmony with our natural environment.

Our Organization
Founded in 1971, the Alaska Center for the Environment (ACE) is a non-profit, tax-exempt, public interest organization which depends on its active board, members, interns and volunteers. ACE influences decisions through grassroots activism and education. ACE also serves as a community center and clearinghouse for individuals and groups needing support to promote new ideas and strategies to protect our environment.
