About Me

I am a 28 year old man livin in the Nati I like to travel, go out to bars/clubs,ski and learn. Sometimes the combination doesn't work out as well as planned. I have now been in cincy almost three years and the road is definitely calling my name. Decided to go back to school after seeing the low ceiling that the bar and restaurant biz have. It is great to have my weekends off and try to function as a member of society. I am studying aviation maintenance technology at Cincinnati State and it is very interesting and exciting. I have always wanted to fly, but I decided I better know how they work first! lol. After completing my degree ( either here or in FL) I plan to become a pilot and hopefully land a gig where I can employ all my skills of management, maintenance, and flying. Anyone looking? It is strange to be going back to school at 28, but better late than never!! I am very excited about the opportunities that lay ahead and hope to be updating this thing in a while with pics of me in the cockpit!!

Looking for new buds and I have many interests and like people who are a little strange like myself. I don't do the whole 9-5 thing and and enjoy hanging with people who are crazy/funny/ and intelligent. Also like active folks who like to get outside!

Music:

I like anything and everything that fits onto my new IPOD!!! Thanks NORDICA! Your skis rock and promos are evn better. From Elvis Costello to Social D and down to Bill Monroe and all bluegrass favs. Comet on Sunday nites are awesome!! Really like the Reverand Horton Heat live shows and Flogging Molly..coming to bogart's soon. Also as residue from my east coast club days, The New Deal out of Toronto and Sound Tribe Sector Nine. Big Widespread Panic fan but after seeing them live over 50 times I think my hippie days have seen the last of me. WHO IN CINCY KNOWS NEW MUSIC? hit me up. Love LIVE SHOWS!!!!! Anything and any form and style of music welcome. From industrial to pop to classical to punk.

Movies:

All time Favorite is FARGO..recent ones include I Heart Huckabees, Sideways, Napoleon Dynamite, Hotel Rwanda, and OHHHH Ohhh "The Last Waltz" directed by Martin Scorsece and featuring The Band's last performance together!! Fuck Yeah that thing is amazing! Not a big fan of the whole summer blockbuster genre, but occasionally I will go to appease my capitalist side. Garden State is also one of my favorites, The Big Lebowski or really anything from the coen brothers. True Romance and most others by Tarantino. Was a fan of Kevin Smith in the clerks, mall rats, chasing amy days but think he became a little self- involved in his filmaking. Did anyone see Jay and Slient Bob Strike Back? That thing was mind-wrecking. I think we are all less aware for having witnessed it.

Television:

Deadwood is the best show out there. Have you taken out the cursing? Ignore it and listen to the beauty of their language including the elaborate metaphors. Pure Genius!! Other than that I like Family Guy and watching CNN and FOX. I watch FOX to see how ridiculous and blinded a group of "journalists" can be and I watch CNN to see how a group of "journalists" can lay down and be trodden over. If you want as real of news as you can get, listen to NPR or watch the BBC. Great commentary comes from Real Time with Bill Maher. I really like politics but I am not involved enough to change much now. Working on that. Skeletons will always get you.

Books:

Recently Read- Charlie's War- A Brief History of Nearly Everything- American Tabloid- I will read anything that involves history and some sort of opnion..whether I agree with it or not.
